The day started with Mauricio Sanmartin refereeing NOVA A vs Washington Furies (Women's), a hard-fought game won by the Furies 29-26 after trailing 21-0 in the first half. Dana Crager, NOVA's fly-half scored the first three tries for the "purple" team.
Bob Leamon, a new member of the society would referee the following game, between the Furies "B" and NOVA "B".
In the adjacent pitch, Allan Miller (B Panel) from the New England Rugby Referees Society (NERRS) directed the game between NOVA "A" and the Pittsburgh Harlequins "A". Touch Judges were Jack Way (PSRFR) and Mark, a C1 referee from Pittsburgh. Mark Koiwai was in the sidelines evaluating Allan.
The next game was conducted by Jack Way and touch-judges were Mark (Pittsburgh) and Mauricio Sanmartin (PSRFR).
